Did you prefer Gwen Stefani when she was with her band, "No Doubt," or do you prefer her solo stuff?

I liked her with No Doubt. She was just a bit edgier, I thought. Though I like some of her new stuff too.

I like her better now. Her band was dragging her down and she was too emo in my opinion when she was with them. Now she's all sexy and fun and her music is way better.

My favorite song of hers is What You Waiting For. This song is so cool on so many levels plus the costumes and shoes in the video just rock!!!

Hollaback and Wind It Up are very rocker chic (I think) and Luxurious is a cool crossover into R&B type pop.

I admire her because she's not afraid to experiment and try new stuff.

Just heard Early Winter for the first time and she's amazing. You just never know what to expect from her. I love that!

Monica, I am with you on "What you waiting for!" I think that is her best song ever.

My favorite No Doubt songs were "Hella Good," "Hey Baby," and "Running."

My fave all time song by her is "What You Waiting For" though I also like Hollaback girl too... it's just really fun. And my kids loved hearing her say the "S" word like 30 times LOL!!!

I haven't heard that other song you mentioned. In fact, I'm really only familiar with her L.A.M.B. cd. Maybe I'll go check out the other now...

No Doubt. Her first album was okay but I haven't heard any of her other solo songs except one (i think her first video after her divorce - i do not even remember if i made it to the end) and it was not awful but not good either.
