I'm so sorry to hear about the shootings. There was just one in Worcester MA right near a little league game. They had to run the kids into the safety of the clubhouse. It is sad when simply enjoying your neighborhood becomes dangerous.

Oh, Rosie, I am sorry to hear about that. It sure makes us feel uncomfortable and tense when those things happen in our own neighborhoods.

We nearly had a shoot-out between police and people holed up in a house not far from us. This was a few weeks ago. There were nine police cars, and a few motorcycle police. They surrounded the house and all had their guns drawn. The fire dept. had to come out and block off the street to keep people out of the area. It was quite scary.

That is terrible news! Crime of any sort can leave you feeling so helpless, but I think shootings are the worst. So many victims, including children, are wounded by stray bullets. I hope you and your loved ones stay safe!
