Has anyone else here read any of the Nicholas Sparks novels? They are amazing, i have read alot of them. Just want to know what you think of them.

I think, as do many other readers, that while he does have romances in his books, they're not true romance novels, as readers don't get that guaranteed happy ending that a romance novel demands.

That said, a lot of romance novel fans read outside the romance genre, in fantasy, in literature, in mystery, so there's room for all kinds of books.

I have read two, The Notebook and the sequel (do not remember the title). The first is a good book (better than the movie) but the other is horrible (except for when it has to do with the 2 characters of the first book its just man bashing).
