But it's not your usual Killer Moms article. This mom, Ellie Nesler, did not kill her child, but the man accused of molesting him.

Article here.

I can understand her actions to a degree. However, I don't agree with vigilante justice because such an act typically just serves to inflict more pain on the child in these cases, by having their parent taken from them. I'm not sure if her son would have avoided the troubles in his teen/adult years if she had not been in prison, but it is a possibility.

Hey Donna, to be honest, I tried not to get into that sitation as while I agree with what you are saying - when it comes to my only child (now 24) - I would tell ALL parties concerned - "Touch my child and you better leave the country" - we lived in the ghetto and had a lot of drug pushers etc. I knew that I had to put some fear into them. The bottom line is to try to protect your child or other family members to avoid having to make that decision. Great subject smile

I agree, Angela. I am not above threatening someone in that fashion. I am all for keeping them away from my kids however I can. I just don't think I could actually follow through for fear of hurting my children further.

Read the article. The drugs in her system had to have affected her as by doing what she did she left her son motherless and that was probably a contributing factor in his later problems. What a sad story !
