Article here. I can understand her actions to a degree. However, I don't agree with vigilante justice because such an act typically just serves to inflict more pain on the child in these cases, by having their parent taken from them. I'm not sure if her son would have avoided the troubles in his teen/adult years if she had not been in prison, but it is a possibility.
