I had an amazing workout yesterday swimming, mobility, circuit training, and stretching. I was tempted to ruin it with a burger and fries but instead had a green protein shake made with yogurt, cantaloupe, banana, chard, flaxseed oil, peanut butter, vanilla whey protein powder (all organic ingredients).
Wed. is usually whatever my son wants to have for dinner night and last night he begged for Carl's Jr. so I bought him chicken fingers and fries. Usually we make healthy versions of fast food at home so this is rare!
I was tempted to get something too but could not imagine ruining all that hard work with 1500 calories of processed junk. My dinner was way better but I did taste a few of his fries (about 8).
Do you reward or treat yourself with junk or high calorie treats after a workout? You can get away with very small indulgences and still burn tons of fat and calories. But if you're going hog wild you will never lose fat and just stay where you are.
