I am sitting here in the Memphis, TN area during severe weather, just got thru a Tornado scare. We are also in a Flood warning area. Seems like this season has been especially bad.

Does this pattern mean that the hurricane season will be bad? Is there any connections? Do you know? Just wondering.

I am by no means an expert, but it seems that there has been a lot of media coverage about the earth changing - no more predictable seasons or weather (lol).

When I lived in Orlando, Florida - it was years before a hurricane finally hit there. Folks were so used to being safe because they are inland and a lot of lives were lost.

Here in Columbus, Georgia and the Phenix City, Alabma areas (we are 5 minutes apart over a bridge/lol) - I thought I had left the unpredictable weather behind.

Yesterday I was passing out from the heat and today I am freezing. One thing I can say, never a dull moment these days with the weather in every state

There have been hardly any hurricanes in the US in the past few years so yes the experts say that this coming year should have a significant number of them in a natural balance. I guess we'll see!

I don't think I remember any at all last year that had any real impact on the US.
