Is it just me or does it seem that more and more movie stars are going overseas to adopt kids when we have so many here in the USA that needs homes...

I have never adopted, but admire and respect the folks that have.

Now if something should happen to my only child (daughter, age 24) and she has kids (none as yet) - yes, I would adopt my grandkids in a heart beat if needed

I adopted my second son. He is a special needs child. I have been in the mental health world for 16 years and if given the opportunity again would do it again. My son says that when he get's older, he will adopt his first child. I mentioned that, that is the greatest gift anyone can give.
