I used to think yogilates was so silly but then I realized that Pilates has a very strong yoga influence and it's all dynamic movement so I'm more open to hybrid workout now.

Have you tried hybrid workouts or hybrid exercises yet? What would be the craziest combo? Here's a few that exist that you probably haven't tried.

Piloxing - pilates and boxing which is not so weird considering Mr. Pilates was a former boxer.

YAS - yoga and indoor cycling

Kickbox yoga fusion - martial arts and yoga kind of go hand in hand because of the focus and the dynamic flexibility

TRX Pole dance - makes sense since suspension trainers build upper body and core strength for pole dance

Zumba boot camp- could be fun and intense if taught correctly!

I'm trying a hybrid workout today, TRX pilates fusion. I know this sounds crazy and weird but lots of dancers are using the TRX so I'm gonna give it a try.

Check out one of the hybrid exercises that I'll be doing. It's called the trx side plank leg swing series (40 second video). This exercise is hard!

I've already been doing floor versions of this for months so I'm ready to take off the floor now. I will be sore tomorrow for sure!
