Hello sister tatters! My name's Alice. I've only started tatting the past month or so, and to say the least.... I'M OBSESSED!!! http://forums.bellaonline.com/images/icons/default/grin.gif I was wondering if any of you needle tatters could give me some tips or recommendations for books or sites or ANYTHING for adding beads to needle tatting. I'm ok with adding to picots but it's more this: http://www.georgiaseitz.com/2002/beads/janasplitringbeads.jpg or this: http://www.georgiaseitz.com/classes2001/spangles/beadbasic.jpg (the "over")Is what I'm wanting to do. I'd so appreciate the help. I'm a real newbie, so please be gentle with me =) I look forward to hearing your responses!!! Thank you! Alice ok... was just given an alert that url's are not allowed, so now I don't know how to show you what I mean. can anyone ALSO tell me how to post the "UBB code" instead? Thanks again!

Hello Mad,

Sorry I missed seeing your question.

http://www.hhtatting.com/beads.htm

For needle tatting the three basic ways are to place beads on the ball thread, over the needle itself or on a picot as you are joining to the picot.

However, you can also do other beading techniques with study.
