A client comes in last night and FINALLY gets it! She's like "I've been training with you since 2005 and I still can't motivate myself to exercise on my own when I'm not here with you. Why am I spending all this money if I'm not learning how to put what you teach me into practice on my own."
Some clients learn how to train on their own on off days right away. It takes others 6 years and some never ever learn but the truth is nobody needs a trainer to get results. Anybody can get fit and lose weight without help. I've done it all my life.
Doesn't matter if you're overweight, sick, injured, broke, uneducated, tired, busy, young, old, or whatever. It can be done and real people do it all the time. There are so many sites and blogs on this. Just go to Spark people or Shapefit or PeerTrainer or FreeTrainers. Just regular old people doing it the right way on their own. No excuses!
