Hi Everyone:

Have you saved any money lately by using "alternative" ways of healing?

I have! The famous "salt & water" mixture that I use to buy, now made at home smile

Now your turn...

I make my own saline solutions too. Well, I use water and baking soda for a nasal rinse.

Lots of "alternatives" cost more for me, I'm afraid. Acupuncture, for instance, isn't covered by insurance.

I do save money though buying cd's so I can do qigong exercises at home, instead of paying someone to teach me, for instance. I also don't take any type of medications or health problems because I live a healthy lifestyle so I think that saves me money in the long run.

Hi HealthyMom62, I have not tried "acupuncture" = hate needles. How long have you been doing this? Thanks smile

I've done a series of acupuncture appointments two different times and it really helped a nerve situation I have. My daughter has used it for stress, skin breakouts and a stone bruise on her foot when she played softball.

It isn't comfortable but to me better than taking medications.
