From Ted.com -
"In this soaring demonstration, deaf percussionist Evelyn Glennie illustrates how listening to music involves much more than simply letting sound waves hit your eardrums": How to listen to music with your whole body.

Inspiring and enlightening presentation! Watch, listen, feel, enjoy!

Cheers!

Hey Sabira:

How "inspiring" - makes me feel guilty for feeling sorry for myself today frown Here is someone who is deaf - I am not, and she has made the best of her situation.

Thanks for sharing!

Hi Angela,

I like the fact that she sounds good, with a tasteful sensitivity and intensity. She has her own feel in her performances. As John Hartford said, "Style is based on limitation".

And it appears she really loves her experience of music and sounds, in a similar way to how an auditory hearing inspired musician does.

I am glad it can work that way. :-)

Cheers!
