I do love my husband & I feel the same Lisa.

When I was younger, I never wanted to marry. My husband had to ask 3x before I said yes.

I like those married couples that live in separate homes. Currently, an ideal marriage for me would be a condo in the city for him to get to work easily & for us to utilize for city outings. A place in the country for the kids & I to enjoy a relaxing life. On Thursday nights I'd hire a sitter or call in a grandma & meet him at our city flat for drinks, romp & play. Then, after he gets off work on Friday we'd head inland to spend time w/the kids (I might stay behind for a night to myself).

I love my husband, we are very good friends, that's why I stay married. But I'm a loner. I live in the same home with my spouse because it's what he needs & the kids would not understand at this stage. When they are old enough, I might consider a home next door. I'd love that. After all, he is the best travel partner ever and marriage does not define any of that.

I'm one of those married couples people who lives in separate homes. Mostly it's a perfect situation...but having a real abode and then a part time one can have it's frustrations.

financial situation at present would make it difficult to strike out on my own, plus I am willing to work on the problems if he is.
