Thank you all for the birthday wishes.
I had a pretty good day. My husband had the day off from work, so we were able to have some time together while the kids were gone at school.
For my gifts this year, I got two DVDs and two books. The DVDs are the
Fullmetal Alchemist Premium OVA Collection and
Tokyo Godfathers (an anime film directed by the late Satoshi Kon). For my books, I got the second volume of the
Inuyasha 3-in-1 manga volumes that Viz Media has been putting out, and
Starting Point 1979-1996 (a book written by anime director Hayao Miyazaki that was translated into English by Beth Cary and Frederik L. Schodt).
