One evening there was a Cherokee who told his grandson about the battle going on inside people's heads.

He said: "Listen my child, the struggle stands between two wolves that live inside us all. One is unhappiness. The other is happiness.�

Grandson thinks little of this and then asks his grandfather: "Which wolf wins then?"

... The old Cherokee replied simply: "The one you feed."

I have a graphic illustration of this, but slightly different. Instead of Happiness and Unhappiness, it's Good and Evil with the wolf's face in black and white, similar to the Ying/Yang symbol. I saved it on my desk top and completely forgot to print it out for a friend. Thanks for reminding me about it.
