BellaOnline Forums Health and Fitness Exercise Joined new rec center/gym

I finally broke down and joined the gym/rec center right next door to my job. It's the one that my family had actually wanted to join all along, it's only $15 more a month total for the family - plus we get access to both centers by joining this one.

The great thing is that they have evening water exercise classes. Yeah!!! When our gym closed last year for a week maintenance, we were able to go to this one and we loved it.

I'm starting tonight, signed up for Ak-Wa-Fit and their Zumba class. I'm looking forward to this and it has been a LONG time since I looked forward to exercising.

Plus, my son loves open swim. They have open swim EVERY night until 9 as compared to the open swim in the afternoon hours only at the other location.

We are all really looking forward to going over as a family. Did I mention that it shares the same parking lot as my work building so I'll be able to go during the day.

Good for you. Sometimes paying a little extra to get exactly what you need and what makes everybody happy is worth it. Looking forward to reading about you getting back on track : ) It's been way too lonely in here without you!

The classes were truly awesome. I didn't even get sore until I woke up the this morning. Usually it sets in once I sit down after the gym, but it didn't... it felt good!
