Any Koontz fans out there? I started with False Memory and I've been hooked ever since.

I read one book of his some time ago - can't remember the name. Enjoyed the intensity of the writing. Interesting I did not go back for more - somehow one was enough!

Francine, the Stephen King western books your brother is looking for is the 'Dark Tower' series. I'm a huge Dean Koontz fan and just finished 'What The Night Knows' which is on my list of his best works. My absolute fave series of his is the 'Odd Thomas' series!

I have been reading him for years, just love his work. Once I start a book I have trouble putting it down.

I love Dean Koontz so much. When I was 8 my Godmother gave me Lightning and since then I have read every single one of his books. My favorite is from the corner of his eye but they are all great. His characters are so well written and his villains are so evil.

He is my favorite author. Velocity scared me so much that for the first and only time in my life I was scared of what was underneath my bed, in my closet, every dark places and even the drawers. I started reading it in front of a big window at night, about an hour later I looked up and saw outside and got so scared because it was dark and I could not see behind the tree that was right in front of the window.

Everytime I have read one of his books I have a hard time stopping to read it. He is very good at dragging you into the world he invented. It is very interesting and scary.
