March 2nd is the first day of the month of 'Al� in the Bah�'� calendar, and is the month of Fasting. For nineteen days, Bah�'�s refrain from eating and drinking between sunrise and sunset.

It might be good to note here that those over seventy years are exempt..You had seventy five years..

In answer to a
question, Shoghi Effendi has clarified that people who attain
the age of seventy are exempt, whether or not they are weak.
