What takes top priority when you are considering a relationship?

Is it looks? Finances? Religious beliefs? Career?

What gets your attention, and what turns you off?

Ask me the same questions when I was 18 and I would say "looks"...

Ask me now at age 52, "finances"...

Hey, love and looks do not pay the bills, keep the roof over our head, gas in the car/keep the car and of course feed us (lol).

***Hygiene is a turn off if he is not bathing***
I LOVE conversation, so he needs to know how to communicate

LOL! Angela, I could see that totally. Everything changes as we get older.

My first priority in a relationship was to always have someone who loves God as much as I do. Also, someone who would love me for me, and not try to change me or make me be someone else in front of others. I saw too much of that around me growing up. I wanted someone with goals and priorities. He didn't have to have everything right then; but definitely on the path to making it happen!

Great post! I'm a little like Angela and yourself, the older you get everything changes I would pick religious beliefs. That's very important to me. Again, great post!
