Some folks think their kids learn better, some think the school systems are too violent and so on.

Great question, Angela! I found homeschooling my son to be the best education option for him. The schools here in Florida are not great, and I am a former FL teacher, so I know first hand. Why do you choose to homeschool? :00)

I have never homeschooled, but have been fascinated with the subject. It seems that all the school systems are really getting bad due to the budget limits. At age 52, I remember my school days being so different.

I attended both a private catholic school and a public school - both had their issues My mom swears by "private schools" but she is a retired school teacher age 82! She just does not understand what goes on now within ALL schools.
