I did it! I am so excited. This pose was my goal for the year of 2011, and I have already gotten it down.
What is interesting is that all this time I was trying to work on it, my legs and arms were totally doing the wrong thing. Last night I asked a yoga instructor to help me get Crow down, and she showed me what I was missing - and up I popped into it!
It really is a balance thing. It looks like a huge strength pose, but it's not. It's a matter of angles and trust in the balance. I love it!
I am going to work on being able to hold it longer now. It really energizes my core.
