Waxing can definitely be a pain. I used to literally dread the days I had to go for a wax. But I finally found my savior in Avon Skin-so-Soft Facial Hair Removal Cream. As my skin is really sensitive most hair removal products cause irritation. This cream is very mellow and leaves my skin silky soft. It also has a great essence that leaves you smelling great.

I have heard hair removal creams darken the skin over time. Is that true?

Waxing is such a painful thing that I can't bear it at all. Looking for other alternatives.

Waxing is not just painful! Every time we are waxed, the pulling breaks down the underlying structure of the skin.

A skin specialist told me that this will cause the facial equivalent of stretch marks over time.

This person said that she believes it is better to use facial hair removal creams or even electrolysis than to wax and risk deep wrinkles arround your lips and eyes.

I thought about it and it made enough sense that I'm looking for a good depilatory cream.

I was using this type of hair removal for years when I started getting rid of my hair. My favorite brand and the brand that also was the most effective was the name brand of my drugstore. If I remember correctly I would be hair free for two to three days, less than a week and more than one day I remember for sure. Nair I used once and it is the only time I ever had an allergic reaction to a beauty product (and ive used products with nuts which im allergic), it was awful, my skin was burned and it took more than one week to come back from this. I stopped this after a few years then shaved and I have been going to an aesthetician for waxing for years now. My dream is to have enough money one day to use electrolysis or laser for all of my body hair including my face (having electrolysis done on my eyebrows and its awesome). I would think these hair removal creams are now better from when I was a teenager so id I ever stop waxing I may try it out before trying shaving again.
