Sabira, you've talked about different places you've played - and that you've gigs through the Summer, and stuff, right?

Do you do covers or originals?

How did you get started?

I'd really LOVE to be able to get a regular gig.

I have usually been doing more covers than originals at gigs. Most people who hire me are expecting a familiar popular repertoire.

Hopefully we'll get a couple of original CDs completed this year and all those songs, too, will be popular among our listeners. That is our plan.

How did I get started? Ahh... a lengthy topic, good for another article, or several.

I got started by practicing, going for it, and making lots of "mistakes" along the way (a skill I excel at :-). I think I will respond to this with two articles - one on promotion, and one on preparation. Thank you, Deanna!
