My latest article on Volksmarching brought back some great memories of walks we have taken.
Our first was in Germany when we were young parents with very little money. We have some great pics with our son in a baby carrier on our backs as we walked the German countryside.
It was a delight to discover them in the U.S. when we became empty nesters. The crowds aren't as large and they don't serve bratwurst or beer, but they are still a treat to attend.
