just over 18 months ago i had a paranormal experience that has really really puzzled me. it happened one night in the april month just before i moved back to the north east of england. i had been to the shop at the top of the road where we lived in doncaster and was heading back down the hill to go back to the house i was at when something bright caught my eye? it was glowing and rolling across the road towards me, it was the size of a marble, bright green in colour and glowing bright in the darkness, as i watched it roll to the side of the road another fell from above then another until all three of them were in line like beads on a bracelet. as i watched them glowing they began to fizz like fireworks do and i thought they had come from the garage at the other side of the road , thinking they were like welding drops from an oxy acetaline burner. as i continued to watch i noticed funny type orbs circulating round my waist at speed and then they were flying round cars parked nearby, i thought i was seeing things until a girl who was 20 yards away stopped as they circled her as well , i noticed they were multicoloured even though it was just starting to get dark. the girl looked at me and we both stood there amazed . the circling lasted for about 3 minutes and when the orb things had finished they flew off down the street circling other people and cars and other objects in their path. im not a person that is skeptical as i have had some weird experiences. these things whatever they were were not from this world i honestly believe they were alien and maybe from somewhere that is watching us closely as they appeared to be inspecting and examining everything in their path. when i got in my son told me to lie down because he thought i had migraine but i was fine, i would like to know if anybody has had anything like this happen to them . if you have i would like hear from you. lawrence.

in 1981 a number of policemen in northumberland reported seeing what they thought was a ufo in various locations around the county there was 14 policemen in all who each confirmed a sighting, only last year on the 10th april another sighting was reported. the most unusual sighting was reported and people saw what appeared to be a spaceship on tv on the news on look norths programme. there was another incident however not long ago that got my attention? a security guard patrolling a metal merchants in gateshead tyne and wear actually got so scared out of his wits that he froze to the spot and had to be admitted to hospital. as he began his patrol in the darkness with torch in hand he saw a strang object hovering over the skips that contained aluminium, as he stood under cover he watched as this flying type saucer hovered from one skip to another shining a beam as if searching for certain metals. the guard thought he was undetected by the inhabitants of the craft but it suddenly moved and hovered in front of him aware that he was watching them. the guard was terrified and crouched down with the beam upon him, he didnt answer his radio and another guard found him in a distressed state, the guard phoned for back up and teams raced to the scene police as well, the craft was seen at another part of the compound and suddenly shot up in the air and stopped hovering still, it then sped off at breathtaking speed like nothing ever seen before, the guard was treated in hospital but was off sick due to his ordeal, the guard said that for some reason an hour of time seemed to be missing on his watch as it had stopped and restarted later. has anyone else had a ufo sighting or encounter.

near death experiences - are quite common today and have been for a very long time even hundreds of years ago people all over the world had been telling of a land they had visited after going into heart failure. some say that it is the brain that is starved of oxygen that produces hallucinations but this is ludicrous, the brain would not register at all once it had no oxygen if it did there would be no need to resucitate as the brain would start the heart again. i personally saw myself lying on the floor lifeless from outside my body. no breathing, pale, and no response at all to the people trying to revive me. everyone i know that has gone through an n. d. e. has had very much the same things happening to them as i did ? such as being outside ones body, travelling down a tunnel towards a bright light in the distance, being met by a being of light or an angel, meeting a gate or barrier, having a life review that showed from a young age to old age, a feeling of great joy and peace, no pain, shown visions of the future to come that explained disasters, wars, famines, medical cures and discoveries, being filled with knowledge about the universe and beyond, glimpses of a beautiful garden of immense size with flowers and trees and gigantic glass like marble mansion houses, also people the same as on earth in solid form. even the blind have described the same realising that they could see perfectly on the other side, and finally being told they had to go back or been given the choice to stay. has anyone else on the forum had this experience, i would be pleased to hear from you.

me and my brother were at home one night on our own, mam and dad had just been granted a bungalow about half a mile further down the road. it was a cold winters night and we had a paraffin stove on the top of the stairs that kept sending its heat accross the landing near to our bedrooms. our christopher had to be up early for work in the morning as he was an accountant for the local authority and work needed catching up on due to staff illness. i remained downstairs watching tv, and in the early hours i heard a commotion? i went upstairs and saw our chris looking at the stove, when i asked him what was wrong he said he heard a strumming noise coming from the mesh guard on the stove, i began to laugh but he said it was the 3rd time he had been up. i went to bed and was awakened by him shouting, i went to the room he was in and opened the door. he said he heard the strumming noise but this time couldnt get out of the room because there was no doorway it had vanished. he said he could see out of the window and in the moonlight the outside garden had changed, it was not the normal garden. the surroundings were different.he noticed beyond the garden a completely different scene as though he was in another time , like in the past? its a good job i got him out of there. the house was identical to one i lived in when i was 22 yrs old when i first got married, my wife was in hospital giving birth to my son and i was left at home on my own with my 3 dogs, the other children were at their grandmothers. i washed the clothes from the double bed in preperation for the new arrival and slept in the childrens room. i went to bed late and was exhausted? i could see the light from the moon and began to drift off when suddenly there in front of me at the foot of the bed was a man dressed in a black robe like a monk but about 6 ft 6 in height? i got out of bed and swung a punch at the figure but hit the light switch and on came the light. my german shepherd and two greyhounds were on the top of the landing growling and snarling at the uninvited visitor who had by now entered the little box room. ive never seen dogs go crazy like they did and the german shepherd had the door open in no time and went in. there was continued snarling and barking but i couldnt see anything. i must of jumped every step down the stairs and i got a nine inch carving knife out of the drawers, i noticed the clock read 3.20 am and had stopped, i searched the house and found nothing? the dogs settled so i went to sleep ok. the next night i built up the fire and slept on the settee sofa . the rest of the damp clothes were on the big fireguard and i drifted off to sleep with my 3 dogs by my side. at exactly 3.20am the dogs woke me up going crazy snarling and barking at the door leading to the stairs. i saw out of the corner of my eye that the clothes and blankets on the fireguard had been re- arranged, a vest was on the fire. i dont know how it got there but after i knocked a cinder off it i noticed there was no burn marks. we went upstairs the dogs and me and the window in the box room was open yet i locked it before retiring, my wife came out of hospital next day and i never mentioned it as not to frighten her. for years i woke up at 3.20am every night till i left and moved house and it stopped happening. i think something has followed me from house to house.

my sister doreen had a strange experience years ago when she lived next to a cemetery in barnsley south yorkshire, the man that lived next door was off work one day and she noticed him as she was pegging out her washing to dry. he went from the top of his garden throwing things in a heap at the bottom near to where she was stood. normally he was a cheerful person but this day he was rather distant. as my sister finished emptying her laundry basket she headed back up the path back to the house to pick up another basket full. as she got half way up the next door neighbours wife who was friendly with our doreen waved at her through the window? my sister waved back and went into the house. as she came back turning round she saw the lady again who smiled and waved again so naturally a wave was sent back. 10 minutes later my sister spoke to the man asking him if he was ok but he didnt answer and went about his business. inquisitive my sister waited until she pegged the rest of the clothes out and again spoke to the man asking him how he was and mentioning that she had just waved to his wife asking about her, the man flew into a rage growling are you trying to be funny and stood there really mad, my sister said there was no need to be clever. the man said his wife had died two days ago. doreen later found out that she had passed away.

i heard this story from a friend who liked to hear about the experiences i had had with the paranormal. he told me one night a man he worked with had been to london to see family and had then travelled back late at night to get home. the night was treacherous with sleet and rain and a section of the motorway was closed forcing him to take the minor roads for a while till he got back on the motorway further up. he knew the area of motorway but was unfamiliar with the villages on the backroads. he was about 3 mile on the changed course when he noticed a young lady up ahead getting a right soaking? stopping the car he asked if he could give the lady a lift, she got in and they proceeded very slowly on the road ahead. telling him she lived at the next village she asked if he would come in for a drink of tea as the night was freezing. soon they came to a village that led them to the ladys house. it was a very large house with large bay windows. on pulling up the man put his coat over the ladys head to keep her dry. they arrived at the door and were met by an old lady and another young lady. as he went in he noticed how nice the house was and began to ask about the paintings on the walls. tea was served by the old lady as the others chatted, he noticed a silver snuff box on the mantlepiece and the old lady said if he liked it he could keep it as a gift for dropping her daughter off safe and sound. after a while the man left and the young girl said goodbye, as he walked out of the house back to the car the other sister shouted come back anytime, she said i hope to see you again, in fact i know i will. the man headed by signs to the road and in no time was back on the motorway and back home. 3 weeks later he again went to london but stopped overnight at his familys home knowing that in the morning he may stop off at the young ladys house to say hello on the way back. he set off at 9am and arrived at the section of motorway and pulled off down the road he travelled 3 weeks earlier? he passed the spot where he picked the lady up but it looked different in the daylight , as he got to his destination he saw the house but something was wrong. all the garden was overgrown and the house was boarded up? the paintwork looked in need of repair and he glanced through a portion of the window and saw into the house. he saw that it was filthy and saw the mantlepiece was bare. he couldnt understand what was wrong and went into the village itself. remembering the address and the girls name he asked about the house, he was told at the post office that no one had lived in that house for fifty years but as it was a listed building it still stood. very confused he asked about the young girls that lived there, the reply he got was that one girl died but that was years ago, he got information that there was someone of the same surname at an address in the next village. he went straight to the local estate agents and somehow convinced them that he was interested in buying the house? he then went with the agent and entered the house by the back door. he saw dirt marks all over where the paintings had been and was convinced it was the same house. after a bit longer searching he knocked on an door with information to the name he remembered. the lady who opened the door told him her and her sister now dead and their mother had lived there fifty years ago, he couldnt believe it and seemed to see a resemblance in the -womans face. he pulled out the snuff box and the woman said its like the one my mam gave a good samaritan one night who dropped my sister off in the rain. the woman said he would come back but he didnt expect what was in store. it sounds a bit far fetched but who knows if its true.

my brother and nephew wanted a lift into doncaster one night as they were off to play snooker in rileys snooker club, they were having a drink and couldnt drive so i took them both into town in my car. it was about 7.30 pm and just putting in dark so i dropped them off outside the club and headed back home by another route. as i got past the racecourse coming home i noticed an articulator lorry was tailgating me, i was doing 40mph dead on the limit and this idiot driver was nearly scraping the paint off my car. as i got out of town i accelerated up to 60mph and he done the same, i had to go a bit faster thinking i would shake the driver off but he was right behind me? as i came to the top of a hill i saw a white transit van overtaking the artic rightt behind. there was traffic coming the opposite was so as not to cause an accident i sped faster to let the van get in behind me and get in front of the truck . he was level with the front of the truck but didnt get past in time i knew something must of happened so i quickly stopped and got out expecting to see a crash, but there was nothing -no artic no van they had gone, it was impossible what id just witnessed. i drove straight to the workingmens club when i got home and explained to my mates what happened and one of them told me an artic and a white van had a smash up with oncoming vehicles a few months before with most of them dead. that was really weird.

It was in the 90s I was a teen. My mother's mother had just passed away, as I came out of a deep sleep; because I had a feeling someone was looking at me. Sure enough there was Grandma Jane; only she looked as she did, when I was a child. I think now, she was saying her goodbyes and letting me know she'll be around. Years later; a physic mentioned how Grandma Jane appreciates how I still bring her into discussions at times also, how I'm the only one who does so.

i had only been in the new colliery 4 weeks and was placed on a control button that operated the trunk belt that took the coal to the bunker about a mile away in the shaft bottom. ctv camera systems were everywhere as it was classed as the modernest pit in britain, it was a well lit place and after being there on my first day i thought to myself this was a nice easy job wishing i had took a book with me to read. all went well till about an hour before the shift was ended? while shoveling coal spillage from under the belt i noticed a light near the ctv camera moving up and down. as i went to investigate it was then that i saw it, a man dressed in shorts with no tee shirt on and an old fashioned helmet and lamp walk straight through the trunk belt and through the stone arched roadway. i absolutely flew out of there at a speed id never done before. when i got to the pit bottom i told my story still in a state of shock, no one would believe me and the deputy who was in charge burst out laughing, i went home and next day i was the laughing stock of the whole colliery, i wish there had been someone with me at the time as they would of believed me probably. i left the colliery not long after it was the best move i ever made. 40 years on and they still tell the tale in the clubs where i see the miners, something must have registered with them then.
