Hola, My name is Wendy and I'm new to the forum. I'm from Vista, Ca and Just got into orchids about two months ago after receiving my first one from my former boss and her husband my current boss. I have truly become a orchid lover that I got hired for a position with a orchid business. I am enjoying reading different post and learning and getting ideas and seeing what others have to say.

One myth that people often associate with growing orchids it that they need lots of water. Though orchids love moisture in the air, it does not mean they like to be sitting in water. Remember that in the wild, orchids hang on tree branches. So, water the orchids well, but allow them to dry as well.

Happy Growing!!
