This is a huge topic and much of my own personal self development has been directed at getting rid of old conditioning so that I operate from a place of personal Truth.

This is a wonderful article, Lauren! The questions you suggest we ask ourselves are very insightful and if everyone asked them each day, thinking about what exactly their true self is, the world would be a much better place.

In the past few years, I've really worked at ridding myself of old guilt and resentments that were keeping me from being my authentic self. I let go of the past and felt more free to go on and become the person I wanted to be.

This has led to being more spiritual, calm and at peace.

Thanks Joan. It isn't a quick process, but it is well worth it and I believe the changes are so authentic that you never go back to the 'old you'!
