Fascinating article Deanna! I did not know about the Egyptian or Chinese Tiger associations, and those are both cultures I connect with and study the symbology of, so thanks for that. I LOVE all big cats, but have not had dreams with tigers. Instead, I have dreamt of myself as panther more than once. But I think symbologically there are probably alot of similarities. I associate it with protection, and my warrior/protector aspect. It brings me a lot of strength to think about that part of myself when I need it.

I think they all are very similar. With the panther, it's association would probably fall more with the dark moon, intuition, and hidden secrets, where the lion would be more solar, and outgoing. So there are those few fun subtle differences. But yeah, they are all just big cats! LOL!
