Sometimes it must be intelligence (common sense) over a pull of the heart strings if we make a decision to bring an exotic pet into our home or not. Here are some examples of some exotic pets (centipede and a Savannah cat) I wasnt able to bring into my home and the reasons why.

Have you had to decide not to bring an exotic pet you dearly wanted home. What were your reasons why?

Hi Diana:

I just don't feel they would be happy in an environment they are not suppose to be in. Hey, I know how I feel when I am not home and somewhere where I don't want to be. You get homesick and just don't feel right. Now some do adjust nicely, so there are exceptions...

Great question.

Love your site!

Angela

Angela, after watching this centipede I am inclined to agree with you. Taking it from millions of acres of grasslands, wait this was Oklahoma, rock land, lol, I don't see how they could possibly be happy in a tank at home.
