I like to make gratitude lists every day. The holiday/New Year season gives us lots to be grateful for even in the midst of all of the activities that we have going on.
If you're up for it, let's stop and start a communal list of all the blessings this season is bringing to us.

I'll start with "A"

A
Angels - when I make food for someone, buy a gift...I'm reflecting the angelic qualities of helpfulness and care

I LOVE this idea!!!!

"B" - Baking. I don't bake a whole lot, but when I do, I am so happy that I get to create something that my family and friends will enjoy.

C - Communities

Gratitude for all types of 'communities' as they are the backbone to supportive and meaningful lives!

"D" Dancing!

I'm not the greatest dancer, but when I pop in some music, and start dancing, I can feel the stress just drain away! And it usually get's my kids moving too!

E - Effort. Making the effort to show others love, kindness, and charity. And making the effort in my own life to be sure to love myself enough to have good relationships, happy activities, and unlimited potential.

"F" - Finding Fun - that's two "f"s LOL!!!

When I can find the fun in something, even putting away the holiday decorations didn't seem so dismal!

We can always choose to make anything fun. Doing dishes, laundry, yard work, even getting the bills taken care of - when I listen to music, and think about how good I'll feel when it's all finished - I can smile!
