hi................. The first depends on your genes and your diet. The second depends on your diet and the conditioner you use. By having less hair breakages, your hair will grow longer faster. thanks :easter: :lovers:

All shampoos are not for all hair types. And yes there are a lot of factors: texture, density, wave pattern, porosity and your genes and diet of course. A good rule: Find one that is pH balanced. If your hair is weak, use protein enriched shampoo. If it is dry, use a hydrating shampoo, if you have hard water, use a clarifying shampoo. It's best to have a professional analyze your hair and get a professional shampoo designed for your hair type. Put the shampoo on the scalp, not on the ends...just rinse it through the ends. Put the conditioner on the ends and work it up to the scalp.

There are different shampoos for different types of hair. You need to take into consideration: texture, length, density, natural condition, water condition, and if you've done chemical services to your hair.

I always recommend professional products as they are ph balanced and have more selection for your personal needs. Plus, with a professionals help, you can get better advice on what to choose. Additionally, most salons will take back the product and allow you to try another one as long as you haven't used a ton of the product out of the bottle.
