I normally enjoy Bones, but the latest episode had me yelling at the screen smile

Spoiler alert.

This was the episode where there was an earthquake and the earthquake shook loose a dead body in the subway system. They figure out the IP address of someone's machine along the way.

So POOF Angela CONNECTS TO THAT MACHINE in an instant - and even worse - she TURNS ON THEIR WEBCAM!!! What in the world?? Are they implying that home machines are all instantly available and we can see every person's webcam with the click of a button??

This riled me a bit smile

That would get me riled, too! But - I think it is too close to the truth. We do not have as much privacy as we used to.

This reminds me of when I was a child and watched Ding Dong school with the first teacher, Miss Francis. She had no children on her show, just talked to the kids watching the show and I used to answer her. I thought she could see me and hear me. One day I carried on quite a conversation with her. Sorry - got a little off-topic there.

I really liked the show "Bones" till the detective had an affair with another woman. I have not watched it for a long time now.

It's interesting what makes us watch a series and then what makes us stop watching it! I used to watch Dexter and now I refuse to. Same thing with Celebrity Apprentice.

I don't like some of the forced romantic things they do in Bones. It does get depressing and upsetting. The break-up of Angela and King of the Lab still bugs me.

I agree about Angie on both counts mentioned above. I thought she and King of the Lab made a cute pair and I saw no reason for her to have a relationship with a woman!

I also wish they'd just drop the whole romance with Booth and Brennen. If they ever do sleep together, it will ruin the show so why can't they just keep going like they are, with the romance on the backburner?

They'd do better just to focus on the crimes and the humor of the show.

The romantic tension between Booth and Brennan keeps the show perking, and the writers would be crazy to put them in bed. The same thing is true in "Castle" between Rick Castle and his detective-muse.
Do you remember "Jag"? When they finally let the hero and his lawyer partner fall in love and get engaged, the show took a nosedive, and it ended with their marriage. I guess we all like the "will they or won't they?" question, and when it is finally answered we lose interest.

I agree about the will they or won't they? aspect of Bones but it's hard to keep it going year after year, especially when Brennen makes no "bones" about going to bed with other guys just for the sex alone - which she will be doing. Booth being the kind of guy he is would logically find someone else if Brennen wasn't interested in a romantic relationship.

I think the show has more going for it than that one thing but maybe others watch just for that.

I agree too about Castle. They should definitely not get into a relationship unless the show is in it's last season.

Bones is an American crime drama television series that premiered on the Fox Network on September 13, 2005. The show is based on forensic science, with each episode focusing on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth to the forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan. I love to watch this show online. It is really a good show..... Bones TV Show
