LOL, before, during, or after Anne?
At the start of the novel, the court is turning from Katherine to Anne. There is tension for the members in deciding which "queen" to follow. Those that will follow Katherine, even in their faith and belief in her right, they know (or should) that they will be on the outside.
During Anne, prior to Jane's rise, the court is playful but well in the knowledge that there are tensions due to no male heir. They begin to know that there are issues at hand between the king and queen, and as such, they know that the tide could turn at any moment within the king's favor. After all, he's has already set aside one queen.
With Jane's rise, the court begins to see that she has the king's favor and they turn to her also.
The court, as the king, are fickle. However, the court's fickleness (is that a word?) is very dependent on where the king's eye lays. I think they know that Anne cannot hold the king's attention due to her failure to provide a male heir and her knack at angering the king. I think he is still, and probably always will be, enthralled with her. Her lack at being a good queen (there are many lacks) is what really turns Henry's head. So, the court follows.
Intrigue, games (some deadly!), and the fickleness of the king and his queen(s) make the court a very insecure place. I'd run to somewhere nice and calm ... like hurricane!
