To help me to know what topics to focus on most, I have crafted a nifty invisible poll.
I wasn't planning on it being invisible... but after I completed it, the poll vanished.
I wasn't sure what time zone it was scheduled in, so maybe it will appear at just the right moment. (Yes, I am a total n00b at making polls.)
If/when it reappears, you can tell me what instruments you are most interested in hearing about.
You can choose up to 4. You can see all the votes before you vote. You can see the votes anytime before the poll is over, too. I just really don't want you to go through any strain here on my forum. I figure many of you are already suffering from the stresses of delayed gratification, waiting to open your Christmas presents.
I know I didn't mention every important instrument. So if I missed your favorite, please write to me and tell me about it!

When I play in a band, I play bass, when I play on my own, I play guitar. I play by ear on both, so it'd be cool to learn to read tablature.

When I play in a band, I play bass, when I play on my own, I play guitar. I play by ear on both, so it'd be cool to learn to read tablature. Lol! You know, I am surprised, too! Of all the instruments, I think more of the population owns spoons than any others... Tablature is really helpful. Have you checked out any bass tabs? Cheers!

I have seen people get some wacky sounds from playing a saw.
I have played washboard in a jug band a few times. It is a hoot to see my partner picking a washtub bass, aka gutbucket!

LOL, I am from Jamaica West Indies and back there we use "steel drums" which are recycled drums that stuff came in - like oil to name one. It is neat how we can "recycle" stuff into musical instruments. You are welcome, Angela!
