I'm not a golfer myself, but my husband is, and so he's gotten our teenage daughters into the game. They've been playing since they were 7 and are now 13 (they're twins), and they absolutely love it. They play in a local girls-only league (The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls' Golf Tour), and US Kids Golf events. They're actually quite good and have been told by coaches that they're almost certain to get golf scholarships to college. Good darn thing, too, because it's an expensive sport, and the hope of scholarships helps balance the cost.
