I like the idea of an edible wreath made of candy with that bright cellophane paper. My grandma used to make those and they always looked so cool especially when you add a string of multi-colored lights to it and then the kids eat all the candy so you don't have to store it.
The butter toffee candy ones with the pretty gold paper sell for $35 online but you can make one for a lot less : ) I'm thinking of making a small wreath for my parents with those lindt chocolate balls wrapped in red, blue, gold paper. I've seen some made with gold hershey's kisses too. I'm looking for a good tutorial on that.
I also like those wreaths made of bird feed that you can hang outside for the birdies. Those look so natural and the birds love them.
