Happy Monday everyone!

Do you have anything special you are going to do this week?

Today we were supposed to have a homeschooling park day - but it's just now starting to sprinkle outside... so, it may be a day of writing! YAY!

Tomorrow I'll probably do a little baking.

Wednesday, clean the house up a bit and get ready for family.

I also want my mom to teach me to knit in a circle. I'm excited - I want to make wrist warmers for a friend of mine for the holidays. And she LOVES stuff that's knitted

I need to get my school work done to enjoy the family holiday. That is my whole focus for the next three days. I just need to know get motivated.

Today I will be flying home...it will be long. Seattle to Salt lake, with layover. Then Salt Lake to Skyharbor, where I need to find a quiet corner to spend the night. Then the first shuttles to take me to my city will come around 9am.

Great thread idea, Deanna!!! Wrist warmers sound cool.

Rebecca, hopefully motivation comes, if not then it was probably meant for you to rest up this weekend.

I have one last meeting this afternoon, after that I am OFF of work until next Wednesday.

My plans are to clean, help cook for the holiday. Finish up my NaNo novel, I've only got around 3640 words left til I hit the big 5 0. Then I need to get back into the swing with my other writing that has been horribly ignored this month.

I'm feeling good today!

I'm baking my boyfriend a key lime pie for his birthday with limes from the tree in our backyard. I'm also finishing Conditioning for Dance by Eric Franklin. Best movement book I've read in ages. I also need to sneak off and buy my son a present for his birthday. He turns 11 soon and I need to beat the mad rush after Thanksgiving (not a fan of crowds at the stores, no matter how good the deals are).

Rebecca, I'm so surprised at how many people I know who are loaded with homework this holiday! Oy!

Jilly, I hope your travel plans go smoothly, and that quiet corner reveals itself easily!

Congrats on having some time off. Gosh, I'm betting you are already free and clear as I'm typing this reply up!

We did end up going to the park today - it was beautiful! You know when the clouds have passed, and it's bright and sunny and cold? That was our day! I sat and chatted with two good friends while our kids ran wild around the park!

Now I'm going to go through my Christmas Carol book and pick out a couple of songs to sing this coming Sunday at church.

Key lime??? YUM Monica! That sounds like a yummy birthday treat.

What did you want to get your son for his birthday? Does it drive him crazy having his birthday so close to the holidays?

My son's bday is in January. It can be frustrating for me because when I go birthday shopping, so many things are sold out :P He seems okay with it though.

I am NOT a fan of shopping after Thanksgiving either!
