We have traveled overseas - I am sure we are scrutinized; I know the luggage certainly is; I just wondered about body scanning and pat downs. I have never seen that done.

Not that often, and now there is no easy access to the pilots it cuts down a lot of the potential problems.

What worries me is the easy access to dangerous chemicals after you get through all the checks!

I used to be a "flight attendant" (at age 18, now 52)and I don't know if it is the same now, but we just walked through the security gates - no pat down, and no luggage searches.

Then they wonder how stuff gets smuggled into the US (lol).
