I have been dealing with major spine issues for many years and have had multiple surgeries. I will again have surgery on my spine in a short while. Around 2003 I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I hadn't taken the diagnoses very seriously. Just a few days ago I was again diagnosed with fibromyalgia. This time I am doing some research and it is raising questions. I often get hives (unknown reasons). I also was diagnosed with diabetes. Fairly recently. Except for now I went in for a g test and it was way too low. I seriously doubt if I have diabetes and he mostly keeps it on the charts for insurance reasons, since I had been high before.

If you are getting hives you can know that your immune system is slightly out of whack. Instead of bothering to find out what caused them, look to improving your immune system through diet and good self care. As regards the diabetes, keep your blood sugar in a good range through keeping sugar and flour product intake right down. This will help your immune system also as fluctuating blood sugars depletes the adrenals, leading to lowered thyroid which lowers the body temperature and the immune system doesn't work as well.

hives can benefit from taking magnesium as can cfs sufferers i believe these two ailments have a connection, i recommended to a lady a few years ago to take epsom salts for her problem with giant urticaria as this is magnesium also. when she took it her condition improved, her throat used to swell up to the point of choking her, but that soon stopped after taking magnesium, also the blotches improved.

I have diabetes and often have low blood sugar at my appointments. My doctor really fusses about it and sometimes makes me eat something before I leave. It doesn't mean you're not diabetic. I'm finding higher carbs and a good breakfast in the morning gets me off to a good start for the day.
