Really looking forward to a friendly and thoughtful discussion on Halloween this year. Here's my current take on it: Halloween - Think it Through. Do you think I've struck a good balance in my thinking?

It's a nice article LeeAnn. I have written several articles about Halloween in years past and decided to feature them on the Christian Living home page for the next two weeks. It is important that Christians think about their behaviour and not just follow along because everybody is doing it.

Thanks Lisa and Lynn. Yep, like I said, thinking is underrated. I hope people will read all the different articles available, study their Bibles, and pray about it. Then they'll be prepared to explain whatever decisions they make.

Wow LeeAnn that is an amazing article. I think if more people acted according to their belief systems then the world would be a nicer, cleaner, healthier place to live : )

"Thinking is underrated."
Great line! Boy do I agree... sometimes if people would just think for second... myself included. smile

Monica, what troubles me is the fear that many, many people have not taken the time to even think through what their belief system is. I can't think what deliberate belief system would include "it's okay to throw my trash along the road" or "I'll just do whatever I want and let other people repair the damage." Lots of people seem to be living their lives with almost no thinking involved at all.

grin Haha - I know LeeAnn, isn't he the saddest thing?

Whenever I see someone throw trash on the Earth that I also happen to live on, it drives me nuts! I can't imagine that belief system (or lack of one) either... too many people do things without thinking about what the consequences for them or others will be.
