I'm working on an exhibit on the 1960s and I'm trying to put together a wish list of things (artifacts/ideas/concepts/etc) that personify the decade.

Any thoughts?

Found this email with this link - it might help:

There was a lot going on - Beatles, Elvis, Folk Music, etc.

"1960s This is the one of the best presentations of the sixties that I have ever seen online. It is very well done. Just click on the link and sit back and enjoy the memories. Great photos and facts. If you're not quite old enough to have been there, feel free to pass it on to someone who is."
The Sixties

WOW - I'd forgotten a lot of this stuff.

Civil rights and civil unrest across the country during that time.

If you know anybody that was between the ages of 20-40 during the sixties. Many of them would have been very active with movements during that time.

Great comments everyone! Please continue to post ideas. I am the beginning stages of exhibit development, so the more ideas the better!
