There being thousands upon thousands of laws on the books in the USA, I'm thinking it's impossible not to break one pretty regularly. When there are laws about how to throw away empty bottles of bug spray, how can you avoid it? I'm more concerned with the consequences of breaking God's laws though. Even one infraction is enough to make one a lawbreaker, and not eligible for Heaven. I'm really glad about that, because Heaven with sin in it would be a real let down.

Great article. Heaven with sin would be a real letdown. It would be far too much like living in the world we now live in. There are people who have done such terrible things that it would not be cool to spend eternity with them unless they had given their hearts to Christ and changed their outlook.

I'm so glad that Jesus paid the price for my sins.

Thanks, Lisa. Sometimes I think we get so used to accepting "pretty good" that we can hardly even imagine "perfectly good" anymore. I love to invent a Heaven as wondrous as I can in my mind, knowing the real thing will be light-years better! And think of the stories those whose lives Christ has changed will have to tell.

I'm so glad that these forums are 'eternal' because I often don't find a topic until long after it has been started.

Heaven with tolerance of sin would be too much like this life and would end up exactly like this life since sin grows and feeds on whoever is near it. I can't imagine living with a God who doesn't care about the holiness of His people.

Amen to that! Even though it's so impossible now to be anything like truly holy, I sure do look forward to the day when it will be as natural as breathing.
