The "Three Sisters" of the Native American garden are beans, corn and squash. These are so good on the supper table when the harvest is in and the weather starts getting colder. Here is one supper recipe that is so good your family will be asking for it again and again. To read the full article, click on the following link: Acorn Squash with Wild Rice Stuffing I hope you enjoy this article. As always, I welcome feedback.

Just a side note...I cook my rice in chicken stock...it tastes AMAZING. ANd you can do that with any rice....usually here we eat organic brown or basmati for a treat.

Wendy, next time I will use the chicken stock to cook the rice in. One could also toss a few chicken bouillon cubes in the water.
Let me know how yours turns out, Granny. The apples and berries are optional - I usually do not put those in the stuffing mix.
