My son's books finally came on Thu and Fri. I Prime ordered them to arrive on Tue and they not only didn't show up but UPS had no record of them at all! So I had to call Amazon to complain and they re-sent them overnight. So he did get them in time. Still though I wonder where the first set went.

My own classes don't start until Sept 13th so I haven't ordered my books yet. 2 of my classes look solid but the other 2 only have 2 and 3 people in them so I'm worried the classes will be canceled. I don't want to order the books only to have to return them. So I'm giving it another week or so, to see if other students join in.

Just 4 more days before I start. My kids are laughing that we are all going to school at the same time.

Ah but you are being an awesome role model! You are showing that learning is a lifelong thing which is great!

Heck in my family I'm going to school, my Dad is taking courses, and my son is too! Everyone is always learning smile

I just ordered my books tonight, I'll get them on Friday and start on Monday!

My youngest, eight years old, keeps asking if this an adult college. She cannot understand why there are no children.

LOL - how funny! Kids have such different concepts. I remember a friend's son was looking through her photo album. He was 7 or 8 at the time. After a while he looked up and said, "Mom, what was the world like when it was all black and white and there was no color?"

Rebecca - that's interesting, does she not know anybody that has graduated from high school and gone to college? When I was growing up I thought of it as very normal that I had aunts and uncles in college, who had gone from high school to college - and I definitely thought of them as "adults" by that point.
