Good morning all-
I finally got my first cactus and I wanted to ask is there anything I should know/do since I live in New England to ensure my new baby is okay during the winter months?

Of course it is indoors but the hot air from the gas heat seems to bother most of my other plants........... any suggestions to a cacti newbie?

My mother - in - law has cactus plants growing outside in her flower garden. I have never seen this before (mid atlantic state). I am not very good with plants.
