OK I've gotten myself really hooked on guanabana tea. I drink it all the time. I have tons of other teas in my cupboard but I always go for the guanabana.

Are there other teas similar to this, so I can at least expand myself a little bit? smile

Hi Lisa! I have no real point of reference, just what I have researched on the prickly fruit that looks like a green strawberry. I have never tried, but have heard of Guanbana tea. It is sometimes called Graviola, or Soursop depending on what country you are in.
Stash tea mixes theirs with vanilla, hibiscus flower, orange peel, lemon grass, rosehips, "eyebright",bilberry, licorice powder, fruit juice for color and natural guanabana flavoring.

Adaigio mixes in Ceylon black tea.

I suppose that since you like citrus based, or fruit based herbals anything along that line you might like- Brands not so sure what to reccommend.
Some claim that this tea will heal ailments such as sllep disorders, bedbugs, fever, and cough

Some also claim it may add to or promote Parkinson's disease
Your thoughts?

I apologize that I didn't see this response before. It's a little scary because my Dad feels he has Parkinson's disease and I do have shaky hands although my doctor says it's just a "normal" form of tremors. So I definitely want to do more research if it really is a Parkinson's issue.

Also I was just talking with my dad tonight about bedbugs - he thinks they are invading his home. I never thought that a tea could help with that. Would it make your skin less tasty?

The one I drink is this one -

from Stash. I adore it. In fact I just ordered in 2 more boxes of it from a website because I can't find it anywhere locally.

Lisa, that is very frightening. Shouldn't your dad be past the age where he could have an onset of Parkinson's? Does he plan to get tested? it would be nice to not have to worry about this!

if your dr thinks your shaking is normal, then that's great. But if you are worried maybe you need a test also. It's just very scary.

I am not sure how a tea could give one a genetic disease.

On the bedbugs, maybe. Do we have bedbugs in this country? What is your dad basing the bedbugs on - does he see them, or is he itchy or have welts?

I suppose a tea can make you less tasty. Like garlic, that seeps through your pores.

That's why not so sure on this one~ manufacturers and some research indicate that~ They make unproven claims all the time that is why people need to be proactive and careful as well what we are consuming. I'll see if I can't dig up more info. on this type of tea.

I am with Jilly and agree that testing should be done if made availble. It is a scary disease. Tremors also could be side-effects of other drugs too.

Lisa good luck and I'll see if I can dig up more info. I know that sometimes nationalities have "old wives" tales and use things for medicinal reasons and may have no real medicinal value.
