There is something that needs to be said about the people that you spend almost 50% of your waking hours with. Life in the cubicle is difficult at best - no privacy, noisy and nosy neighboors can make it feel like a nightmare.

When things go from bad to worse, it's time to practice a little office etiquette.

I remember one time I had a person that used to crunch ice in her mouth for hours every morning. Lovely person but it drove me crazy!!!

Do you have any cubicle mates with habits that drive you crazy as wall?

The bottom line is, I dislike sharing office space with anyone even if they are the perfect office mate (lol).

I agree, when I worked in a cubicle - I always felt like someone was watching my every move. I had a cubicle mate once that was ALWAYS commenting on what they saw on my screen - drove me crazy...lol...

When DH and I lived in the RV together, it was like sharing a cubicle, since we are both work at homers. The biggest issue was our different tastes in music. Too many squabbles about that one.

Otherwise we worked well together.

Jilly, I chuckled at your post. I had a cubicle mate one time that loved, what I thought, was the WORST taste in music. In hind sight, it really wasn't that it was horrible, I just didn't like it. The next company I went to had a ban on radios at our desks. Now even though I am in my own office, I use an MP3 at my desk with just one ear phone in so I can hear people at my door or the phone ring.
