The name Romantic Road sums up the reactions of many visitors after they travel down this route for the first time, but for some tourists it is a one day trip, with many not stopping but having of course, done the Romantic Road. It is featured in this weeks German Culture article, do you think that you would prefer to at least make a few stops along the way?

Hi Angela, you are very welcome, hope you enjoyed the Romantic Road description, but it did not do the route justice I am sure.

One of these days I might have got the hang of graphics, so can actually add a picture and show just how beautiful it really is.

Not too sure about walking it though, although it is done often enough, and folks cycle the route as well, bit too much like hard work for me.

Walking around the various towns and climbing up and down steps, hills and mountains are just about my limit.

Though as a 'real walker' you would probably Ace the whole route with no problems at all, and leave the rest of us in the dust.
