The Perseids thread and meteor shower article have had lots of information. BUT my big question is: Has anybody looked at the sky this past week or so? What did you see?

I'll start it off.

I saw one Perseid on Monday night.
But over the last few weeks I have seen lots of clouds.

Please join in, even if you didn't see anything!

I woke up at 2 am Thursday night but it was too cloudy, so I went back to bed. Friday I got up at 2am again, clear night, and I went outside to watch the small section of sky between the trees overhead. I saw 2 meteors, but then at 2:30 my DD arrived after having driven 14 hours to visit here for her vacation, and all thoughts of meteor watching flew away.

I saw one meteor Friday night in the eastern sky, about 1AM. Saturday night I saw three. I am not sure if the main concentration of the meteors were supposed to be in the east. I have seen "shooting stars" several times before in the east between midnight and 2AM.
