Yesterday I faced the inevitable and put the Suzuki away for the winter, and put the insurance on hold until Spring. Such a sad day! The weather this summer and fall has not been good for motorcycling and I have used Suzi less than usual, which makes the end of the riding season all the sadder. Hurry Spring!

Yes I was looking at the slippery coating of leaves on the ground and was hoping that motorcyclists in the area were putting their motorcycles away around here. It's definitely not safe to ride right now!

I ride all year. No, I don't ride on snow and ice on the street, but it is sweet riding in snow.

As to leaves, allow me to recommend folks to stay on well-travelled highways as much as possible. No trees on the side of the road means no leaves on the sides. High traffic keeps debris from the riding tracks.

two years ago I bought electric gloves that run off the bike. By far, the best motorcycle accessory I ever bought. $275 and I got my money's worth the first week I wore them.

Bummer. Move to the SW! We get to ride all year : ) We're going for a ride next weekend. Have not been enough since the temps got over 100. So happy we're back in the 90's again.
